Your host:
The Tupou Kava Company was founded by siblings BA Hill and Katalina Barton, and is named in honour of their Tongan grandparents, whose surname is Tupou. They produce 100% organic Tongan Noble Kava, grown on their family’s plantation on Vava’u Island, using traditional methods passed down through generations. Tupou Kava’s mission is to provide premium kava to the Australian market in a way that respects and celebrates the rich traditions and cultures of Tonga and the South Pacific. Rooted in sustainability, quality, and community engagement, their values flow through every part of the business — from the roots to the cup.
The Venue:
Playground AfterDark creates a safe space for our community of like minded and curious folks, delivering the joy of plant-based wellness with meaningful shared experiences. We operate Wednesdays from 4:20pm within Plant Playground - a biophilically designed concept space in Perth, Western Australia.
